Originally from Queens, NY, now living in Harlem.

Marilyn Warshawsky is a Puerto Rican and Italian filmmaker who was born and raised in Queens, NY, now residing in Uptown Manhattan. Marilyn is primarily a Director and Producer, who also is skilled in screenplay writing and editing.  She attended SUNY Purchase, where she received a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Film in May of 2021. She aspires to continue her directing and producing career, with hopes to one day own her own production company, specializing in horror films.

Marilyn is a Development Producer at NowThis Media, where she creates original, social-first series including the breakout hit Judgy, built to grab attention and spark conversation. She was formerly a Creative Producer for Blue Wheel Media, where she handled production for paid and organic social media for various clients such as Biore, Jack Black, and John Frieda. 

Before that, Marilyn was also the Senior Producer at Bad Behavior, producing original social shows such as RunwayNYC, and branded short form shows for clients such as Live Nation, Cash App, Benefit Cosmetics. She also worked as a Social Producer for Vox Creative at Vox Media, writing, directing, producing, and editing Instagram Stories and TikToks for brands such as NowThis, Thrillist, PopSugar, The Verge, The Cut, and more.
